I think his core haters fall into basically four factions:

Cartoon fanboys who wouldn't recognize lore if it sat on their face.

"Patricians" who refuse to admit he has actual vision, style, and integrity.

Actual, honest-to-God paid haters from two wildly different camps.

Muslims still butthurt over 300, and possibly newly butthurt over the allegorical message carrying through MoS, BvS, and probably on into JL.
