i watched the latest episode the other night out of sheer boredom and it was literal children shit, these fags only like it because they grew up with it and are viewing it through nostalgia glasses which i can sympathize with i guess but it's still pretty shit if you didn't have a hard-on for it as a kid i guess

Because he's not a great 'villain'. He sent Jack through time and constantly fucks with him, its bad but not evil. And he enslaves species but they usually go back to how they were before that. Even when he death-beamed the scotsman he came back as a ghost, happier than ever. And while Jack's been lost for years, he hasn't aged, so there's been nothing lost.

Basically, they keep putting back-doors into Aku's behavior that makes you think 'ah, he's not *that* bad...'

It's getting a bit weak now, because you want Jack to succeed, but you also don't want to see Aku get totally fucked up, because he's like a prankster rather than evil.

That was just to show Jack feeling like he'd gone too far and lose his sword. Before they were rage bulls they were just mindless sheep, so they were no great loss, and Jack had to defend himself.

Its becoming clear that they're writing themselves into a corner. Im expecting a massive escalation in Aku's behavior, or some big switcheroo where it turns out that Aku is actually Jack from the future or something.
