it's funny and appropriate for a cartoon that a guy named sneed bought a seed and feed shop because his name rhymes with what they sell. formerly chucks shows you it wasn't always that way and gives you a contrasting viewpoint of a normal feed shop based in reality. it's a meta joke poking fun that it is in fact a cartoon.
