>I want to know who or what cripples Hector.
Well after the "a bullet to the head is too humane for Hector" I'd say it's quite obvious...

Gus is doing great and Hector is doing shit (probably was doing worse than Gus even BEFORE his trucks started getting hit) and now Gus will mule his stuff but he wanted this to happen so he has a plan that will benefit him/hurt Hector even more...

So I wouldn't be surprised if at some point Eladio gave Hector's territory to Gus, given that he's more reliable, and mostly just a better distributor.

And once he's out of the picture, he might not have Elladio's protection anymore, and Gus/Mike deal with him. Not kill him, but cripple him.

This and this. She's so goddamn lovable.

>>82736994
I unironically believe she's the best waifu I've ever seen on a tv show in my entire life.

Most girls are usually either
1) Just X's gf or X's wife (boring)
2) Shit and/or annoying (Skyler)
3) Literally wonderwoman (overcompensating to not fall into #2, they can't do it right either they don't do it at all or overdo it)

Kim is literally perfect. A cute 'in progress' love story that doesn't hog 5 hours of airtime per season and is believable, she has things going on her own, she takes part into Jimmy's things as well without being a fucking burden/scene ruiner like Skyler, and the few bits of casual romance/hanging out we've seen between them, she looks very fun&comfy.

I don't even like romance shit usually in shows but I'd watch more of Kim&Jimmy, would not even need any kind of plot, just them 2 hanging out and watching tv or playing boardgames I don't care.

Add to that the most adorable smile of all times, and you get a perfect waifu.
>>
>>82737045
t-thank you
But I thought it was fairly obvious desu. When Gus throws whatever in the trash can and smile, he's like "I got you now". I don't know what he's thinking about, but he clearly owned Hector there.

Hector thinks he's forcing Gus to do something, but Gus wanted to do it.

Maybe he has a plan about what to do, or maybe at some point he'll just tell Eladio that ... Hey, I'm muling his shit, and he doesn't sell much, what's he good for? Can't mule and can't sell... Let me do it all.
>>
>>82737154
1) Most of her plot-relevant screen time is her helping Jimmy or suffering consequences because of Jimmy, her wanting separate conjoined practices instead of one together was a weak token effort.
2) She mirrors a lot of Skyler's bitchfaces and pettiness at times
3) She's the best lawyer in the series, portrayed explicitly as probably better than Howard, and has literally made not one single mistake or misstep that wasn't bound up in her love or trust for Jimmy

Also her smile a shiiiiiiiiit

At least she's not any of the BB women tho

Doesn't prove shit, other than the fact that Gilligan doesn't know what he's doing. The fact that Mike's crime arc has been extremely isolated from the main plot of the show has been a huge criticism of mine, and this just hammers it home. The show would be better without him, or at the very least, they should have tried to integrate him into the plot better. It's fucking awful.

They mention a stroke in Breaking Bad when he's being interrogated by DEA. If it's anything else it will be a retcon.

I hope it isn't caused by some kind of magical poison or something. That would ruin it. You're right, Gus planning an elaborate murder only to find fucked over by natural causes would be nice. Gets cheated out of revenge, but gets the pleasure of tormenting his helpless ass for years to come.

There are a few legitimate poisons that can cause strokes (especially in older people) or nearly perfectly mimic the symptoms, so it wouldn't be "magic".

>>82745757
Definitely not a gunshot or anything like that. The paralysis from spinal damage would never cause him to lose the ability to speak while still leaving him able to move a finger.

That's a possibility. Some sort of brain damage could do it. I think a botched attempt on his life one way or another is probably what happened, whether that's poison or a gunshot. You would think if it were a gunshot that everyone would know that since it's really fucking obvious, but I don't know. I can't even remember who it was who said he had a stroke, so I don't know if they had reason to cover it up.

Mike's story is fucking boring because we know the conclusion. At least have a twist where he actually takes off after being shot by Walt or something then coincidentally finds Jimmy.

If not this whole thing where we already know he pointlessly dies to fill plot makes his story stupid. Especially since everyone else he interacts with dies.

If you think this is just because Kim deserved Mesa Verde... Mesa Verde was HHM's gig, Kim got put on it as their employee. She would never have even been approached by MV if she had been alone.

That's like saying a former McDonald employee is entitled to selling burgers to everyone he served while he was been employed there. They came for McDonald, not for him.

Think Mike is gonna be BCS's "action relief" like (ironically) Saul was pretty much BrBa's comedic relief.

Just something to keep the brba crowd on.
And to be honest i don't really mind. I mean all shows have a fair share of filler bullshit...
Usually it's boring family stuff that doesn't affect anything, and shit like that.
If BCS's filler is about Mike and the cartels, it's not so bad! Just hope they don't try to force the Mike story at the detriment on Jimmy's one, and given they consider it like a real important story, then they add other filler on top of that.

How is this wrong?
Yes Kim brought them in, but again she brought them in to HHM, not to her solo practice.

To slightly modify my former example to fit :
If you're flipping burgers at McDonald and you convince someone to come eat there instead of another fast food restaurant, when you quit that job this guy will keep going to McDonald, he won't come to your house to buy "your" burgers. It was always McDonald's burgers he bought, not yours, even if YOU brought his clientele in.

Kim didn't get put on anything. She was in the doghouse, doing grunt paperwork. She took the initiative to approach potential clients. She put the calls in. She approached Mesa Verde. They didn't approach her. She won them over and gained their business. When she left HHM, MV were happy to continue with her until Chuck scared them. Yes, and she did all that for HHM and while she was working for HHM.

Yes she's the reason they came to HHM but they own banks&shit, they came for HHM a big firm, if Kim had been on her own, the same call would've been cut short they would never have come to her.

Now that they had a foot in the door (with both HHM and her) it was easier to pull them in, but keep in mind, they stayed with HHM even after the split.

Why, if they came "For kim"?
They didn't come for Kim.
They came for HHM, at Kim's demand.

But anwyay you're just doing semantics here, this all comes down to a single concept :
When an employee brings in a client to his boss/company, it's now the Boss/Company's client; Not his own.

I mean Kim is just one case, but do you imagine what the fucking absolute hell the business world would look like if everytime someone left a company he took "his" clients (i.e. the ones he brought in) with him?

99.9999% of the time when an employee gets fired or quit a job, the clients he recruited all stays with the company; They don't follow him in his solo business or to the next company that hires him. Because even tho he recruited them, they let themselves be recruited for a company, not the employee.

BCS is so friggin good
>>

There's not proof for this. Infact the opposite; I remind you that they were more than willing to go with her until Chuck stuck his oar in. This isn't semantics, this is just fundamentally underlining that your view on the situation is wrong.
>>
>>82751879
>I mean Kim is just one case, but do you imagine what the fucking absolute hell the business world would look like if everytime someone left a company he took "his" clients (i.e. the ones he brought in) with him?
That's pretty common though
>>
>>82751879
>Why, if they came "For kim"?
>They didn't come for Kim.
>They came for HHM, at Kim's demand.
They left HHM with Kim. For Kim.
You Breaking Bad kids need to pay better attention.

>>82751879
>do you imagine what the fucking absolute hell the business world would look like if everytime someone left a company he took "his" clients (i.e. the ones he brought in) with him?

Did you ever watch Mad Men? That's a common plot point in just about every season. Clients generally match themselves up with one account man and stick with them regardless of the company and they often follow them to new companies
>>

>>82751879
No.
>>
>>82752521
>They left HHM with Kim. For Kim.
>You Breaking Bad kids need to pay better attention.
they STAYED at HHM.
They left HHM when her partner falsified their documents to make them look incompetent. I think this was somehow linked to a sideplot point in the last episode if you've paid careful attention.

People who "are leaving" are not having a chat with the people they're leaving to see if they can convince them otherwise.

They were weighing options, they were not leaving. And did not leave (until Jimmy's shenanigans) because of that one very important thing - that eventually was proven wrong, but they didn't know back then - They thought they needed more than 1 person on that case because it was a big one, too big for just 1 lawyer, as competent as she is.

Which brings us back to the original point : Kim might've recruited them, but they came for HHM (and the many lawyers) and not just Kim because their banking shit is a big deal and usually needs more than 1 guy.

uhhh that's the correct idiom

Actually he praised her. He just said that 1 lawyer ( as good as he/she is ) isn't enough for such a big case. He was proven wrong because Kim actually just did it on her own, but that's was his sales pitch, and they bought it.

This is literally the only "negative" thing they said about her. Saying something is a 2 men or a 3 men job isn't a backhanded compliment/an insult or an implication on someone's competence. Some things just can't be done by 1 person.

This just happened not to be one of them, but Kevin didn't know that.

I actually hated that scene, seemed like a completely forced, wooden, unnatural breakdown. Just way over the top trying to be "real". No one has a continuous two minute long despair spiral to the point they can't read a fucking bingo number in between it, yet at the same time they're lucid enough to keep replying to people and noticing they want you to read the fucking bingo number. Least of all a face guy with a con artist background who's volunteering here specifically to get clients and puts a lot of time into treating them a particular way. I know Jimmy's like the twenty years older version of the that kid who loves to talk about how he's "just such a fuckup like omg I can't help it omg such a fuckup I'm going to cut myself", but come on, there are some limits to suspension of disbelief on human nature.

Why are you watching a BB prequel if you hate BB so much? Or are you just 13 and trying REALLY REALLY hard to let us know that you're definitely not from Reddit and are a FILMS PRO who is TO INTELLIGENT for action and cartels and appreciates the intellectual value of an eight minute long lawn mowing scene shot from inside the mulching chute?
>>
>>82761614
The best seasons of BB were 1-3. And while it was good, BCS surprised me very positively when it launched, it was much better than the prequel I expected. But when they do BB fan service, it's blatant and shoehorned most of the time. Specially the Gus first appearance with that long drawn shot of the Pollos sign. Tuco was introduced in a much more tasteful way.

Also just because it's the BB universe it doesn't mean they have to force BB stuff all the time.
