Why would you cancel your third highest rated show? If couldn't possibly be more expensive than your 5 lowest rated shows. It was obviously cancelled for political reasons.

Was sort of the last family sitcom out there besides reruns of Seinfeld. Every other sitcom now is just constant sex jokes so you cant watch it with, say, parents. They tried filling a diversity quota by having a black guy that works at his shop and a daughter who is a closet lesbian but in the end they went nowhere.

I'm just shocked a show with Tim Allen and Jay Leno would be cancelled. Thought Leno isn't exactly a good actor.

You should check it out, there's an episode about the Superbowl that was actually pretty funny.

pretty much this. It was political satire but with Trump in office the show would easily come off as neo facist if the main character was seen supporting trump.

It was a conservative comedy show, with a likeable conservative lead, it did great in the ratings, remarkably so for a show airing on fridays which is the 'graveyard' ratings-wise.

So yeah, it was a political move, same way the jew-owned media got MDE cancelled despite having good numbers.
