The scariest parts of Halloween were during the day. It Follows is mostly during the day too

She's almost as scary in daylight. This scene still gives me goosebumps at age 33.

Final Destination, It Follows, and I'm not sure if Jaws counts as horror but that's mostly in daytime too.
