After homer falls down the escalator at the mall in a particularly humorous fashion, he gets invited onto the jackass team where he does the most dangerous activities. He only stops at the last moment before a dangerous event to the worried pleas of his family

Bart starts a successful youtube channel about pranking Homer, Homer is angry at first when he finds out but after realizing how much money Bart makes he quits his job to be a full-time prank victim.

It all falls apart after Lisa sabotages the channel by revealing it to be scripted and fake.

The Simpsons take a vacation to a small town in the middle of nowhere where they meet Elton John, who is stranded by the highway. They pick him up, but it turns out that he can't stop hitting on Marge, even though he's supposed to be gay. Eventually they realize that it's not the real Elton John, and that the real one is trapped back in springfield. They save him, and he plays a private concert for them to end the show.

Lisa Simpson is shocked when she learns that Mr.Burns is censoring scientific studies from Springfield in order to use a toxic chemical.
Burns promotes it as a healthy fuel alternative and pays quack scientists to write fake essays to prove that it is safe. Lisa teams up with Mr. Frink to expose the lies but they are both called science deniers by all of Springfield.

After finding out how much money is in college education, Mr. Burns decides to start his own university. The faculty includes Homer, who at first struggles due to his own incompetence regarding nuclear physics.
After watching several teaching-related movies including Stand and Deliver, he eventually gets better. He is then hired by one of Mr. Burns' friends, who builds robot students he sends to various universities to collect government scholarships.

Some of these are actually really decent ideas guys!

The band is REM.
