Seems like a new, more serious take on the franchise. Im still a little hyped but I wish I stayed comfy and had the original cast. I miss Brendan Fraser every day.

This is just not going to work. What made the Brendan movies so good is that they had comedic tones as well as good horror that blended well - kind of like Raimi's Evil Dead 2.

But making a serious movie where Tom Cruise's character is actually chosen by the female Mummy and is made Immortal - I just don't know how well this will rate.

I'm kinda excited. I like the idea of a genderbent version of the 1932 version, and the scene from the trailer with Cruise waking up in the morgue was pretty cool. The whole "secret society of monster hunters" thing did put a bit of a damper on things though.
