No. At the end of Covenant David drops the eggs on earth and kills all of humanity. The Space Jockey escaped David's initial purge and crashed trying to go warn the humans, unaware that it was already too late for him (eggs were on his ship and he had a chestburster inside him). After David kills all of humanity he feels guilty and restarts life on earth. The crew of the Nostromo in Alien is from the second evolution of humanity on earth. This is why the space jockey is fossilized when they find it.
