CJ supposedly has an MSc in Political Science and is an expert in polling models.

She is shocked, staggered and amazed ("hey you just said three things that mean the same thing") in a later episode to discover census models systematically under-represent certain groups. An expert on polling would obviously know this, its the same thing.

Sorkin has a degree in musical theatre and it shows sometimes.

CJ was dumb for plot reasons a lot. Like she's supposed to be Leo's number 1 choice for his replacement, but then later struggles to understand the difference between China and Taiwan.

I haven't watched a single episode post-Sorkin leaving. Is it worth watching at all or is it soulless crap?

Five is a slog and recycles a lot of stuff. John Wells was holding it together barely. Its even filmed in like depress-o-vision, everything is visually dark and washed out.

Six picks up but its a different show.
Seven is actually quite good.
