Nice cinematography stands out the most and I like how it stays true to the book(so far).

The thing about this show is to understand that these are "american gods". They're bastardized versions of the gods. Twisted by a progressively faithless population that brought them over as they immigrated to America. Anansi uses fake accents while remembering his origin story because depending on who you'd ask the person telling the story would be describing him shaded by their own culture. When you see somebody like Mad Sweeney he's not supposed to be what leprechauns were actually supposed to be like. He's an american persons bastardized vision of what a leprechaun would be like.
