Timothy Dalton is criminally overlooked in the bond Cannon. The stories/plots weren't the best, I think that's why; his talents were underutilised.

But he was the prototype for Craig's bond, dark and brutal. I think he was even more savage than Craig; he set a guy on fire and fed another to a shark.
