also literally the entire season was just filler acts with shit we had already seen in prior seasons and knew as soon as they walked out and saw their props it wasnt going to fool them

they litterally had teh producer interupt one of the final episodes and give a guy an award because it had been so fucking long since someone did something new

and they were still 99% on his trail

if its on the floor, you'll be carded once you enter or as soon as you get near the actual gambling area

most of them have hotels so they let you into the lobby area but not the areas where actual gambling takes place

I remember an episode where a guy did the cup and knife trick the old fashioned way where the person in the audience (hopefully) knows which one is which because it weighs more.

Then Penn says that tricks that have any real element of danger or could hurt someone are a disgrace to magic and should never be done, especially with an audience member involved, but somehow he gives the guy the benefit of the doubt and guesses he did the trick some other way, and the guy lies and says he's right so as not to look like a piece of shit.
