It's a wonderfully faithful adaptation. That is, while there are omissions--most notably the inner monologue/voice-over--they are in service to the presentation of the story as a film, not a book. Other than that, it is largely intact. Also, acquire the single-film version, rather than in Parts One and Two. It's long, but well worth it.
