Like, why man. Why?
What a tremendously underrated movie this was.
Johnny Depp was riding off fumes from his surprise hit and some producer thought he could still trust him to carry a movie.
>HI YO SILVER AWAY !!!
>....Never Do That Again...
8/10 Movie, one of the few Disney flicks I genuinely like next to John Carter & Tron Legacy.

Literally, go fuck yourself, yo.

anon...

By surprise hit, do you mean the pirates franchise?
It's a formalist, anti-capitalist blockbuster that evokes Leone, Keaton and especially Ford, playing out almost as an inverse version of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, bookended by two of the most spectacular action setpieces in a modern Hollywood movie. Who gives a shit if it had Johnny Depp mugging as a native American?

Admit it, even now it wouldn't work. Even if it wasn't killed in the cradle for the name of diversity.

One of the best capeshit movie out there.
Underrated action flick.

Hey samefag.
You seem pretty passionate about hating that movie, maybe you should find another hobby.
>>82662278
It made conservatives mad too because it espoused the evils of capitalism and colonialism, and portrayed the military as an instrument of the evil capitalists.

There's no evil in having the foresight and intelligence to conquer and control.
Because evil is a social construct while conquest or superiority is a natural phenomena inherent in most species relative to their intelligence.

the ending train sequence was GOAT.
