Trailers showed images of Gamora, was not expecting it to be about a father son relationship. Was expecting the final song to be Jim Croce's I Got A Name or Cat's In The Cradle.

So his mother gave him music on the first movie, his father figure gave him a zune. Will he receive music in the third one from his wife or from groot?
>>
>>82646952
The first playing was just as good once you realize it was about them leaving Rocket behind and him not being sure if he's driven his friends away or not, and at the same time him being unable to process how to tell them he likes them.

James Gunn has said the third movie will be this team's last so I expect Star-Lord to pass on some songs to whoever is groomed to take over the franchise afterwards.

I'm also expecting this to close off the current Guardians's run. Sounds pretty fitting.

best of all the 10 or so Marvel flicks so far (sadly)

The Avengers get pretty boring and all the heroes feel pretty same. GotG2 feels actually new and refreshing in comparison, and all the "feels" actually hit home, compared to the supposed "muh feels" of say Civil War.

Yondu was Grandpa. and Kraglin was Yondu cousin.

Now that peter's walkamn is dead and have a new (don't remember what it was) with 300 songs, what do you think they will be?
They will be some "new" song from what time?
When did you think Yondu went to Earth?
Maybe in the late 90's?
And did he just buy it or he stole it? Did he maybe inspired the Blue man group? How he downloaded the songs?
Did he pic it based on his taste or Petes?
Hope most of this shit get answered in Infinity Wars.

>>
>>82664787
>What are the arcs that each character goes through?
Quill and Yondu go through an incompetently handled daddy issues arc, though it has a nice payoff in the only scene in the film that makes you feel something else than "haha he said skeletor".
Gamorra and Nebula go through a sisterly love arc that might have been good if anything hinted at it in the first film or in the first half of the second film.
Rocket goes through a shallow "don't be such a dick" arc that consists of every character telling him he's a dick at least once.
Drax, Groot and Mantis are just there for humor and plot advancement.

Sprinkle all of that with saturday morning breakfast cartoon-tier exposition, like
>I feel bad because I didn't have a dad
>I hate my sister and I want to kill her
>Look at me I'm a dick
written in just so that even a brain damaged vegetable would understand the shallow character arcs.

Though the movie had a few subtle moments where you actually had to pay attention to get what happened, like why Mantis turned sides after reading Drax's emotions.

How can this faggot, who is essentially human,, survive in space with nothing but a gas mask on?
>>
>>82667579
He can't. He's always either in a space ship, on a planet, in a pod, or using some protective suit.
>>
>>82667630
Dude, he was leterally outside of a spaceship multiple times in the first one with nothing but his mask on and he never suffered explosive decompression, like that time when he gave that green chick oxygen. Space is not like underwater.

Anon, I don't know if you're being retarded on purpose but the song is called The Chain
>>
>>82667840
how new are you?
>>
>>82667668

You don't explode when you go into space unprotected. Either you freeze or your blood boils.

>forcing the "Drax looking at a frozen Groot" joke again was just that extra ounce of fucking stupid to the opening
it was way way too long, I mean seriously he was standing still for like 10 seconds or something, I don't wanna be edgy or anything but I don't understand how this is supposed to be funny
