Pretty much this. While I was on deployment years ago I read much of the EU books. Mara Jade, the Solo kids, Thrawn, and especially the Rogue Squadron books which were GOAT. I don't give a fuck about the new Disney movies, the books are what really happened.

Yes but she'll be only one aspect of it. Everything about this movie will ruin it. The writers, the production, the director, the actors, the cinematography, the pacing, etc. The mere existence of this movie actively makes the original trilogy lesser movies due to Han's character being diminished.
