German here. That's actually a not bad one. Obviously horribly partisan but not Nazied up or anything. Movie was even allowed after WW2 which most nazitime movies weren't.
If you look for a documentary or a bio it's not the right one but a nice flick about his political years

Yeah if you actually like the books (which are fantastic) then the movie is pretty terrible. Flashman isn't cast very well.

On its own the movie is just some mediocre 70's adaption.
