On the other hand he is also simply jealous of Jimmy who has it all easier due to his charisma, which Chuck himself lacks and has to achieve everything through hard work. In Chuck's mind Jimmy is getting an unfair advantage that way so for him bringing Jimmy down is only fair.

D&D alignment system is too simplistic for cases like this. Chuck is probably halfway between Lawful Neutral and Lawful Evil. Likewise, Jimmy himself is between Chaotic Good and Chaotic Neutral, and Breaking Bad era Saul is somewhere between Chaotic Neutral and Neutral Evil.

Jimmy LITERALLY SAID RIGHT AT THE BEGINNING his entire goal was to prove that Chuck hates him. He was not going to prove whether or not he actually had his illness. He was just showing that Chuck is clearly off-kilter and he felt that the only way to help him feel better was to feed into his hatred of him. Jimmy knows Chuck hates him, and what else would make Chuck feel better than affirming that hatred by admitting to committing a felony.

Jimmy's goal was to goad Chuck into his outburt, thereby proving that he's always been spiteful towards him and that he might do just about anything to get in his way, INCLUDING exaggerating his condition to get him to admit things he might not otherwise admit. Chuck's judgement when it comes to Jimmy has now been called into question, the committee now has to consider whether or not these hearings are legitimate or just a ploy by Chuck to get his brother disbarred.

Jimmy should stop practicing law and open a gym. Would be a much more interesting plot line and a viable reason to have the strip mall space. Could call it, "Better Call Swole"
