I didn't like him but I dislike toddlers on a general basis. I've never found them cute or funny like everyone seems to do.

Just got back from a showing of this. Theatre was packed and if I had to guess, I'd say roughly half the audience was in literal hysteric laughter at every fucking quip.

probably not since they're supposed to show up in Avengers Infinity next I think, and thats supposed to be a few years after this one, and he seems to age pretty quickly. So unless we get a guardians 3 before avengers then I'm guessing we'll probably see adult groot next time

I thought it was tastefully done. It wasnt one long joke about how small Groot was, and his size was used to his advantage as well. I could have been alot worse

Was there actually a precedent set in the comics or whatever for Groot to get fucked up and have to regrow? If not it feels a bit like an attempt to sell a cute toy.
