S2 was a little aimless and then decided to cram the big shock/mythos progression set-piece into the last 20 minutes and it felt rushed and poorly explained as a result. Oh hey so they just all fly to London and presto-chango they can walk into the physical interrogation room no problems and things happen just go with it bro shut your mind off? At least it was a better followup than most of Netflix's S2s are, and better as a mystical mumbo jumbo show than The OA, but that was some RTD nonsensical finale bullshit they pulled.
