wtf, so jimmy (saul goodman) never tampered with any documents, it was all his brother being schitzo?

always remember that BCS is literally Nothing Happens: The Show

it's a dream sequence
>>
This episode was pretty good to be honest. Chuck finally lost it.
>>
A battery by itself does not emitter electromagnetic radiation
>>
>>82563827

A dream sequence in the mind of Huell who is slowly starving in that hotel room, which would explain why he was so skinny.
>>
>>82563983
it has a current tho
>>
>>82564863
no it does not. but even so, i dont give a fuck. it could have just as easily been a phone put in his pocket to prove the point so its not a deal breaker for me.
>>

the entire fact that the disease is fake and chuck is just mentally ill means that its Chuck's perception of electricity so it doesnt really matter if its plugged in or not, hes just crazy

DEEPEST LORE
>>

Yes it does. Yeah but jimmy wanted to extend the ruse
>>
How was anything Chuck said wrong?

I am dumb
How didn't Chuck feel the pain from the battery?
Is there any meaning behind the camera focusing on the "exit" sign again at the end of the episode?

no it doesn't. it's just chemicals that have the potential to produce electricity if negative and positive terminals are shorted.

>>82565583
>Is there any meaning behind the camera focusing on the "exit" sign again at the end of the episode?

chuck was looking at the sign which shows that he was contemplating matters such as 'am i mentally ill?' and 'is this not a physical disease that i have?'
>>
>>82565579
he's not wrong, he's just an asshole.
>>
>>82565583
>How didn't Chuck feel the pain from the battery?
because his disease is fake
>>
>>82565579
it doesnt matter if its wrong or right, what matters is that Chuck practically confessed that he set up his brother for malicious reasons and it might just get thrown out
>>
>>82565649
>chuck was looking at the sign which shows that he was contemplating matters such as 'am i mentally ill?' and 'is this not a physical disease that i have?'
The sound of the buzzing being emphasized made me see it as his "condition" being exasperated by Jimmy's ruse cruse, causing him to become more sensitive to electricity. We saw it happen before when he collapsed, so it seems like it could happen again now that he's been even more BTFO.
>>
>>82565719
nah, that's not why it would be thrown out. it'd get thrown out because of jimmy's angle which is that he was trying to tell him anything he could to make him feel better and he just made the tape recording shit up.
>>
>>82565796
I mean theres a lot of ways this can go down but basically Chuck cucked himself

Its funny because everyone told him to shut up but he just kept going

He is an hyperintelligent academic with an extreme hypochondria. He's a lawyer. He doesn't know shit about electromagnetism. He's displayed total ignorance about electromagnetism.

>Something really bad is probably gonna happen to her ;__;

Why Vince?!
>>
>>82567085
Light switches work my mechanical force from a user's finger. This completes a circuit. The voltage drives a current through the wiring, to the lightbulb which, if it's an incandescent bulb, will heat the filament to the point it glows.

But this really doesn't have anything to do with either batteries or Chuck's condition.
>>
>>82563983
>>82566457
I'm not sure if you missed it in the last episode, or in that hospital room when the doctor lady turned the electricity on without Chuck's knowing and he didn't react at all, I mean it was very subtle so maybe you missed it but Chuck's doesn't have a physical condition, he's CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY.

He thinks that some random things WITH electromagnetic radiations hurt him physically even tho they actually don't. And he also thinks that some things WITHOUT electromagnetic radiations hurt him physically, even tho they actually don't, either.

It's in his mind. His mind made shit up about many different things. It doesn't make more sense for one than the other.
>>
>>82567031
He was always talking about electromagnetic radio waves and not electric fields in general. Electrical fields also can happen naturally without any "technology".
>>
>>82567085
Your mom works me into a magic state.
>>
>>82567185
He talks about anything electrically related, whether it's fields, currents, or radiation.

He has people ground themselves because he's worried about static charge, i.e. electric fields.

We see him struggling with the batteries in the recorder.

soon as it seems like something bad gonna happen to her I'm dropping this show and picturing the rest for myself where Kim is happy ever after.

I only hope she doesn't die suddenly or something like that with no time to prepare for it, because then I'll have to erase it from my memory and possibly get therapy for Kimfu-PTSD.
>>
>>82567132
I thought the whole reason Saul wanted to go into hiding in Omaha is a slim chance of running into Kim. So that kind of implies she goes back to Nebraska for some reason.
>>
>>82567281
they used the battery so Jimmy could provoke Chuck wih the "failed" little trick of having a phone in his pocket, making Chuck appear even more crazy.
>>
>>82567256
Okay, fair point. He is also worried about static charge because he makes people ground themselves. But that also shows that he he a basic knowledge of electromagnetism.
Then he should also know that a battery that is not in use does not emmit any electricity and no electrical field, because under normal equilibrium conditions the electrical potential inside the battery exactly equals the chemical potential and no electrons flow.
>>
>>82566457
wouldn't an overreaction to a battery with no current prove that his illness is bull?
>>
>>82566807
>.I mean Im not an engineer nor did I do extensive research about electromagnetism but I even know that a disconnected single battery does not emmit any electromagnetic radiowaves.

And you also know that being 50 feets away from an electrical exit sign can't hurt you;
Chuck doesn't. Because he's crazy.

You guys are trying to go with science to demonstrate something's wrong with his behavior when he's CRAZY.

I mean it's like you going in Africa or wtv in a retarded primitive tribe and they freak out when you take their picture because they think taking someone's picture steal their soul

And then you go
>Hurr, well it makes no sense to think that, look at my camera, it doesn't have any "soulstealer" apparatus or anything like that, and no big soul countainer either. It makes no sense whatsoever for you to think that!

Chuck's crazy.
If everything he did/said/thought was rational, he wouldn't be crazy, now would he?
His made-up pain about being close to electrical stuff is just as wrong/impossible, yet he feels it anyway. Because crazy.

well, the majority of the biochemistry functions involve voltages and electric fields.
It would make much more sense for Chuck to be afraid of electromagnetic radiowaves as this does not occur naturally in nature.
But fuck it, at the end Chuck is crazy and its just a show so the writers can portray them as retarded as they want...
>>
>>82567680
*biochemistry functions in our body
>>
>>82567680
>electromagnetic radiation does not occur in nature

I like how this thread is accusing Vince doesn't know anything about electricity and everybody knows the basics of electricity, but there's all this ignorance on display right here in this thread.

Yes, electromagnetic energy is natural. There's the sun, for example. Chuck freaks out in the sun.

And yes, because basic biochemstry relies on voltages and electric fields, it's stupid for Chuck to think he's "allergic" to it.

Also, anon, the flow of electricity, current, causes electromagnetic radiation. Our very bodies emit it.
>>
>>82567805
I was talking about electromagnetic radiowaves and not electromagnetic radiaton.
Frequencies between 3kHz to 3Ghz fall in that category and do not occur naturally, at least not on earth.
Thats why some people are legit scared to sleep next to a internet router. Other people blame the radiowaves of their cellphones for brain tumors and such.
Im not sure if this is scientifically proven but I mean people thought the gamma rays are also harmless (which are also electromagnetic waves with much higher frequencies) until they were proven to be highly carcinogenic

That's not the reason, he started focusing on it because he started panicking and because things stopped going his way. Like when he was OK in the Xerox place until the clerk denied seeing Jimmy.

Really? Because the evidence of Chuck being crazy is Chuck stating that Saul faked the billboard accident, WHICH IS TRUE, Chuck mentioning Saul doctoring his documents, WHICH IS TRUE, and Chuck mentioning the shitting through a sunroof, WHICH WAS ALSO TRUE.

Those things only look crazy to the courtroom because they don't know that shit really happened.

It's all psychosomatic. The source of the problem doesn't have to make logical sense if the individual's perception is fucked up. Chuck losing his wife is what sent him into the depression and his coping mechanism was to blame it on electricity. He was wiling to lie about it and abuse it to the point where it was clear that it was not a medical illness. It's all mental health based.

You know, like that time Jimmy bet his lawyer career on the fact that the disease isn't real.

And Jimmy might've believed it was real UNTIL the bed thing. After that he knew it was all in his head, because he can connect the dots, unlike you apparently.
>>
>>82573451
No, you go there, take a dump, then take pictures of your dump and post them everywhere else.

But still, one has to question the sanity of going there if you think they're shit. REdditors go there thinking it's a great place. You acknowledge it's not, yet you keep going.
>>
>>82573439
Jimmy (saul goodman) doesn't believe in the disease, but he sees how Chuck is suffering from it and feels bad for him.

Schizophrenia can manifest in a variety of symptoms - visual/audible hallucinations, delusions (often paranoia), muddled thoughts, word salad and general shifts in behaviour. There are lots of knock-on effects from these too, such as difficulty in coping with ordinary life tasks.

A friend of mine has it. I've only seen him have one proper breakdown but it was the whole shebang - was convinced people were out to get him, thought I was conspiring to get him committed (I wasn't), would insist that he could hear people having sex in the house, that he could see people spying on him from next to our gate. He didn't sleep for like 7 days straight, which just compounded shit.

Watching this show is hard. I can totally empathise with people pussyfooting around Chuck.
>>
>>82574808
>It's a disbarment hearing not a family court
Yes. And Jimmy's defense is "I'm not a felon who falsified legal documents! My brother is crazy!"

Jimmy's whole reasoning is that he said what he said is because Chuck is nuts and he wanted to make him feel better.

If you have a retarded kid who asks where his dead grandmother is and you tell him she's on a vacation when in fact she was murdered, will the cops arrest you for trying to hide the details of a murder? Maybe you're complicit?

Or... maybe you just don't want to tell your retarded kid that she was murdered because it would make him feel bad.

Jimmy's defense is just like that. He said what he said only to make a crazy person feel better, because telling him otherwise would make him realize he's crazy, which Jimmy wanted to avoid. But this defense can't work unless Chuck is crazy, hence what happened.

If we're getting technical I'd rather say psychotic instead of schizophrenic. Both are commonly associated though.
I have an aunt with both and she used to believe there were cameras everywhere (back when Big Brother was starting). She also heard voices. More recently she also has fake memories about their siblings gifting her a house or other weird stuff like that.

Chuck is kind of like a more proactive Skyler. He knew his brother was a con. He saw the writing on the Saul. If he had been able to pull this off then Jimmy would never be accessory to the chaos of Heisenberg.

Chuck had to research his "condition" which implies that it exists, fag turkey.
>>

What did he mean by this?
>>
>>82576066
It's a made-up, condition.

It "exists" in that there's people who claim to have it, but it's always been disproven.

That's the thing,Jimmy was always up to something. He's a scumbag.

When he was having it out with the Airforce guy it became clear that Jimmy just intends to bend and break the rules and he doesn't want to be criticized for it,which is impossible for a neurotic lawyer like Chuckles.

Jimmy was trying to do things the right way and Chuck kept sabotaging him. That's why this is so tragic.
>>
>>82576324
Aside from stealing from his parents the rest of his tricks and corner cutting wasn't truly malicious. He actually was turning things around becoming a lawyer but Chuck couldn't take it because their parents loved him more.
>>
>>82576367
Chuck and even Kim know Jimmy doing things "the right way" is impossible. He's slippin' Jimmy. It's just who he is. He cannot resist breaking the rules. If there's a shortcut he sees absolutely no reason not to take it.

yes it exists, I mean you'll find less cases of people having electromagnetic hypersensitivity than people being possessed by demons, but it just means it's a bit rare, yet just as real as demonic possession!

My friend's never taken meds. Strictly speaking, he's not been diagnosed - has been aware of his condition since he was 13 and kept it secret for years.

There was always something a little off about him, but I rationalised it as personal "quirks" (again, weird that Chuck used that exact term). After his breakdown in >>82575627 however, he confided in me and a lot of shit fell into place.

I've asked him to get properly diagnosed but he's afraid the meds will affect his art/music, which is the thing he's come to rely on to cope with life for the last 20 years. Tough call really.

That's not really the point first of all
>I'm not an engineer. He's not an engineer but is educated. I know it. Therefore he must know it too
That's a logical fallacy.

Also the whole point of that exchange was to get chuck really worked up, the lawyer and everyone in court to doubt if chuck is mentally ill. For chcuk to go on a rant that made him look completely insane, and also proved he resented his brother and hated the fact that he was a lawyer. Which are all things he denied before.

Also the best part is that what Jimmy is doing is actually morally correct, he made his brother realise he is actually mentally ill. Showed everyone that his sickness isn't real (as proved on the episode in the hospital). And the best part is that chuck might know start doubting that any document forgery ever happened. And that it's all in his head, also Howard will obviously drop Chuck now, since he has always been low key skeptical
