>still the best superhero movie
Really make you think
>>82556802
Unironically yes. Batman truly is the pinnicle of what a superhero movie should be. Burton achieved in one movie what Nolan failed to do with an overly-bloated trilogy.
That's not even the best Tim Burton Batman movie.
>>82556802
It's either this or original Christopher Reeve Superman.
Fuck, yes.
Batman is best showcase of what retarded, coked up ,moronic, insecure Hollywood producer's are capable of doing to any good idea/franchise/IP/book etc..
Burton's batman 1 was great,2 was okish but you could feel cancer took a bite.
After that ,they went down the rabbit hole so deep, Nolan's Batman looked like fucking Mona Lisa.

Agreed.
>>82556802
that's not Returns though
1)Superman 78
2)batman returns
Then what? What's "number 3" ? Everyone knows these are the best two superhero movies but no one can agree with what's the 3rd best one
>>82557272
3) Spiderman 2
>>82556888
This.
>>82556888
I came in here to say the exact same thing.

>>82556802
not quite
>>82556888
why yes
any complaints i had about the first of the pair were squashed in returns, characters better than ever and with far less batwhining from keaton, though sadly at the cost of no joker
lando two-face would've been a fun sight but ultimately the character itself isn't that interesting to me so i'm very glad we got both catwoman and penguin, even if i do prefer the btas versions. super solid film with all sorts going on in a way that weaves it together nicely.
