Why horror movies are a fucking joke

This is a rant. Sorry but most modern horror is despicable, useless, poorly written, gamma projectile vomited into the retinal cones of the sheeple who purchase the tickets. Watching the un-ardent frivolous drivel of dialogue accompanied by over the top gore, keeping the populations of the uneducated either believing that these films are fantasy and not celebratory of the rampant gross suffering and sickness veining throughout our society, or using the combinations of moving picture of blood and guts, jump scenes and that stupid ass battlefield 4 rhythmic bass"BHWEEEEN....BWHEEEEEN" often enunciated over a soundless scene to further imprint the gory visuals into our neural ganglia. I apologize but its frustrating seeing the same thing happen in horror movies as is happening in the world of pornography and its effects, escalation, dehumanization, compartmentalization, devoid of all meaning and emotional connection. It serves only to further carve out the humanity in the hearts of us and leave you a cold isolated numb shell of existence. To me it isnt art, it is psychological terrorism. However I do not believe in any form of censorship, just would like people to be more aware of what is blasted into their faces. I still appreciate some well written story with elements of horror as long as there is some semblance of a meaning other than murder and terror. Older horror movies were written much better. Anyway, needed to get that out of my system..
