This is bullshit. They do snap and go crazy, but it's usually if it's a rescue, which Bill's dog was so I completely understand her reasoning. To say that they're just guard dogs is ignorant though. They get a bad reputation because niggers and white trash treat their dogs like shit and they go crazy and kill people. If you have a pitbull that you raise correctly they're the best dogs in the world.

Nah man you're the bullshitter. Dogs are bread with certain temperaments in mind and pits can make loyal guard dogs. They will never be reliable as family dogs without very strict training. The worst trained golden retriever still makes a better family dog than a pit. Anecdotal evidence here, but I had this old neighbor who had pit bull show dogs that ended up tearing another neighbors little dog to shreds. The amount of stories out there for pit bulls with no history of violence fucking up some other dog or worse, a person, dwarf any other breed.

I've been at the receiving end of a pit bull and I've also had my dog attacked by one which required almost 2k in vet bills, so I know that they can be vicious pieces of shit. That said, I still believe they are good dogs that need care from birth. If you get a rescue pit bull or know somebody who does, you might as well just have the dog put down because it's only a matter of time before it snaps and either attacks you or somebody that you love. It could take years, but it WILL happen. If you get it as a puppy and raise it right, it will be pretty much the best dog you've ever had
