Ridley Scott made Alien (Alien 1) and James Cameron made Aliens (Alien 2), both movies were masterpieces.

Any future Alien movies will always be compared with the first two.

The only way to top first to movies is for both Ridley Scott and James Cameron to team up and make the next masterpiece in the series.

just re-watched aliens last night and while it is without a doubt a incredibly impressive film the whole thing feels like a fan-fic... MORE guns MORE aliens a BIGGER alien - get in a mech and fight it WWE style - it almost feels like it belongs to a completely separate franchise

So this will have nothing to do with the prometheus story line? I understand that most people didn't like the movie, but I really wanted to know how this evolves. The cute swedish gal wanted to kick some ancient asses and I was pretty hype for that.

I feel like the second movie is a perfect evolution of the first one.

Xenomorph vs Ripley battle continues, except the first movie was Ripley vs Alien, and the second Mech Ripley vs Alien queen.

Thats exactly what i wanted from the second movie. More Aliens, bigger fight.

If i wanted something different, i couldn't of watch a different movie.
