It's a Hollywood action movie with historical elements thrown in for the hell of it. It is pretty much the same nonsese as the second half of DaVinci's code.

I hear that if you like the book you won't like this one because they botched it, relatively to the book at least.

I enjoy Dan Brown's books, they're not amazing but they're entertaining. The movies are all mediocre though.

I was on Dan Brown kick last summer and Inferno was the worst in the lot. It was gimmicky and almost painfully formulaic. It's a story that really pressures your suspension of disbelief, too perfect, too convenient. It's based on Dante, but there's no emotional hook there; Inferno is the literary equivalent of line tracing, lacking color, depth, or insight.
