here's my take on it; all the people who came to america brought their gods and mythical creatures with them as said things exists off of the belief of said people, be it odin, or african sex lady, or leprechauns, or the slavic gods and zoryas. however, people now lose faith, or rather shift their faith towards media and technology, hence the glitch boy and i love lucy. the new gods are trying wipe the old ones out, and odin is trying to round the old gods up to fight the new ones. why he needs shadow i don't know yet. the episodes so far seem to reflect how confused shadow is about everything. i like it.
