It looks good visually, like it's shot nice (when you're not showing anything that isn't WW1 that has nothing to do with capeshit on screen) but the problem is still tone.

Capeshit can be serious if they go all out but they're always holding back to a PG-13 level. It's not deep, it's still has to be comic in a way. Every time Wonder Woman is in that costume, in a completely realistic background, she looks out of place. What also doesn't help is how awful the CG is holy shit. You go from competently classically shot cinematic movie to video game every time Wonder Woman does anything super hero related or if she's in a frame where she's the only fantasy character in a realistic setting.

I wonder how much of her they're actually going to use in CG when they need Princess Israel to do an action scene. Probably often.

This movie is gonna be 2 and half hours long again. The last ones felt like it had to fill that length yet still had shit removed. Hopefully this one can be a little tighter.

Like there's not a single shot that lets you focus on the choreography of the fights, probably because they couldn't make decent choreography.

see the BvS Batman v mercenaries scene. It is in my opinion too much of a cutfest in the first 90 seconds or so, then the shots get longer and you can see more, develop a sense of space and how the area looks like.Perhaps it was a concious decision to make the fight look hectic at first, but I think the beginning looks just worse than it could.

This trailer has multiple cuts where none is needed which introduces confusion. It's a movie getting murdered on the cutting board. Of course all this is needed to cover for the VFX which are there to obfuscate the shit casting.

Look at the shots of WW running and deflecting bullets with bracers. It looks like a meme generator. It's so corny, and mostly because of how many fucking bullets she will deflect this way throughout the movie. It would be fine if the deflects were there in the fights neatly weaven in between the punches, but now it looks like a Star Wars movie which would have a Jedi who doesn't swing the saber to cut shit but only deflects blasters as if he was holding a laser baseball bat. The concept of catching bullets with bracer is cool, but when you will see it 1000 times it will get cheesy.

Gal Gadot can act, she just doesn't have a lot of range. But she doesn't need to have a lot of range she just needs to play Diana well. Gadot is EXCELLENT at face acting (not posing, like Kierra Knightley tends to do) which is very important in these movies, look at Robert Downey Jr, he is also great at face acting. Watch some of the dialogue scenes from the trailers and watch her scenes from BvS. There is a definite character shift and growth. The Diana in these trailers is naive, uncomfortable in man's world, but the Diana that talks to Bruce is wizened, she's jaded and more flirty and independent. Those are great examples of an actor that is capable and talented. In all of her close up fight scenes the face acting is so incredibly believable. Her delivery may be a little wooden at times, but I think it's incorrect to say she just can't act.
