Star Trek TNG. It just keeps improving and peaks in season 6. Season 7 isn't quite as good but it's still solid.

Sort of. Season 2 wasn't better than season 1 though, and 5 was clearly the worst of all of them.

Better Call Saul, sorta, season 3 is really good.

I love it all the way through, because drawn out and slow character study dramas are my shit, but I definitely see why people hate season 1 and 2.

Babylon 5 got better, but stayed one season too long.

Mad Men

I guess I can understand if you like Season 4 the best, or didn't like S7.2, but I always felt the show got stronger, and it gets to a point where watching the characters do "nothing" is enjoyable, and each episode just strengthens them.
