This is exactly what all the plebs said about Prometheus though. If anything this is a good sign. Especially from what we've seen from the trailers, it looks like they took the most important parts from Alien: Paradise Lost and put them into the story of the Covenant, which is a smart move. In any case, we'll see on Thursday. So fucking hyped.

Alien was 10/10, same with Blade Runner.
T&L was OK, same with Gladiator.

Since then, he did only subpar films like Blackhawk dawn, and terrible movies: Prometheus is on par than The Counselor, Body of Lies, Exodus or Robin Hood.

The Martian is his best film in years and that says a lot.
