I'm not sure if it's as bad as I recall since I watched it as it aired, but really was a let-down in terms of plot narrative. There's a smattering of strong scenes that made it worth my time though, and the ending itself was good.

I don't know. It's not gonna retroactively gonna make you look down on the earlier seasons and you already have foreknowledge of it being a disappointment. Give it a go.

I thought the final season was really disappointing and overall a poor conclusion to the series. Pretty big downwards spiral compared to Season 3 and especially with the first two seasons.

Rushed, but hell, it's the conclusion Banshee got. I'm not too bitter about it.
