For a brief time in my household, Cyberchase was banned because my mom confused it with Futurama. I didn't have cable, and I pretty much couldn't watch the only kid-oriented thing the 5 satellite tv stations had to offer.

She though Fry and the kid from Cyberchase were the same character, so she banned Cyberchase.

This is the only PBS show that I still watched when I was 7-10 (the others I never saw past age 6).

It had a cool sense of adventure, that some their other shows perhaps lacked, and it was cheesy but it was cheesy in a likable way, that elementary kids could watch it without cringing, again unlike some of their other shows (for example Caillou, which is just a bad influence).
