This is probably bait, but I legitimately think Transformers is a great series. Sure the romance and comedy is shit, but the action and the few great characters and non-action scenes make it more than worth watching.
Bay should just self finance a gritty Transformers movie where the focus is on the action. Like maybe an alternate plot, where Autobots failed. The remaining survivors are retreating to the last few remaining human military bases still resisting, maybe with some faint hope of rescue, but they know they are just prolonging their deaths and this is their last stand.

Anyway my top 9 movies, thinking of switching Bretskaysa Krepost though.
