This is something i never understood.

They wanted to use a propeller plane like in Zero Hour, but the studio insisted on a jet plane.

Why the fuck would the studio do that? It's absolutely irrelevant whether it's one or the other, it's just swining your dick and saying do as i tell you.

Using a jet and propeller sound is both funny and a big fuck you to the studio.

I KNEW IT! I saw this part when I was a kid and completely awestruck me. When I caught it again on tv years back, they must've edited it out; for an entire week I was obsessed with the Mandela effect as a result

Homage, since the movies it's referencing are already comedic. You can't parody a comedy.

The back and forth and escalation every time they come back to the airport.
Every time I heard the announcement in an airport it made me kek.

people nowadays wouldn't know when to laugh without a fucking laugh track telling them what to do
>>

The title is part of the joke since its an amalgamation of the tites of all the "coming of age in the hood" movies that the early 90's were just lousy with.
Its such a good parody that I cant even watch the movies theyre spoofing because I keep waiting for cuba goody jr. to start hitting kids when he has his scene submitted for the accademy's consideration. Or waiting for Keenan Ivory Waynes to pop up and go "MESSAGE!"

I love when the black guys talk
