Watching this as a non-american (and without pretty much any prior knowledge of OJ) is fucking great
agreed. really gives you a great insight into why he was so beloved and so many people gave him so many passes for so long.
t. was three years old when the murder occurred, so i had to ask my parents what they remembered from that time period.
Same here. Phenomenal documentary.

>so many people gave him so many passes for so long.
Well he was a running back for eleven seasons, wasn't he?
is this actually good or is it highly rated for the same reason Get Out got a 100 on RT?

there's no politics if that's what you're asking. it's a somewhat dramatized version of the events but mostly accurate.
one example is there's a throwaway scene implying the two prosecutors had a thing for each other, but in interviews they've always maintained their relationship was professional so it seems like something the writers invented.

Let me give you some insight from an American born in the 60's and grew up as a fan of O.J. He was not only a great athlete but he had this aura of sophistication and cool. He murdered his ex-wife and her boy toy, no doubt, and this fact shocked all of us. You really had to live through the whole thing to get it, though. A real tragedy.
