Was is supposed to come as a shock that Ben's character didn't do it? That's the impression I thought the movie until the reveal was supposed to give, but it made no sense that Ben in the beginning would have pretended to come home confused as to why there was broken glass on his floor, (which was depicted), meaning it couldn't have been him, unless he was putting on an act just for himself, as if he were roleplaying somebody who was completely ignorant, which is idiotic.

I liked it. The ending felt tacked on as fuck and stupid but I liked it.

The shock is knowing just how cold and calculated Amy was in her framejob, even going as far as buying a bunch of toys Ben would like and then stashing them to be found by the cops.
not to mention the fake diary

>I kinda think so, yes.
Then it failed.
>They're both unreliable narrators.
What narrator? We saw Ben's character confusingly react to the broken glass? No narration was involved.
>The shock is knowing just how cold and calculated Amy was in her framejob,
Okay? I was asking if there was initial shock that Ben's character was innocent, which came as no shock to me.
>theater is dead quiet for almost the entire movie
>audible gasp when Ben shoves Amy against the wall
fuck's sake
