Take those nostalgia goggles off, grandpa. Take it from someone born in 1998: This flick is garbage. I tried watching it but it's so bad it's unbearable. Its a miracle that this hamfisted shitheap even reached the percentage of fresh that it got.

That approval rating is fucked. The fact that this has a 24% but something like Force Awakens has a 92% just shows how meaningless that site is.

Home Alone 2 is better than the first, with a god-tier score. Great, fun movie to just chill out and watch. It's fucking far from bad.

Back then, critics were very hard on sequels that played it safe (this, Ghostbusters 2, etc.). Now days critics are manbabies that like to watch the same thing over and over. Hence why A New Hope (2015) and every MCU movie is praised.

I don't understand why this movie was a hit but "Mousehunt," which had more heart and a similar premise, was forgotten. The kid in this movie is a fucking spoiled brat.
