It starts off very good and then towards the end gives up any attempts at being unbiased. It's worth watching not to adopt it's version of events but to see just how warped and often straight up propaganda lies what we were taught in school was. Essentially I came away looking forward to the accurate history of Nazism we might get to see in 50+ years more than won over to Nazism at all.

As for filmmaking: it's a YouTube series from 00s. Don't expect much more. I did thoroughly enjoy it and I'll watch it again I'm sure but don't believe everything it claims any more than English language docudramas.

Its both. Its unwilling to concede that Hitler implemented false flag attacks in the Sudetenland and in the Polish corridor to justify the invasions of Czechoslovakia and Poland. Its still a great watch and fairly informative about many things most people don't know...but its incredibly biased. It is refreshing to show the story from the other perspective for a change. To find out fact from fiction though, you'd have to do your own research.

It's pretty terrible, they went to ridiculous lengths to turn Hitler into a cartoonish villian with no redeeming qualities. It seemed like they were too scared to show any positives of his personality (something everybody has, even the biggest pieces of shit)

It's unbelievable because had he acted the way he did in the film irl nobody would have paid him any attention.

Hitlers actions should have just been displayed accurately, particularly how much the conservative old guard despised him, and people would have been able to see how destructive and egotistical he was for themselves.
