None of them annoy me too much as I don't really know any people who are big into fandoms or whatever. Anyone can like anything to a healthy degree, the issue isn't the subject or that they like it (except bronies lel). The problem is when people substitute their fanaticism for pop culture for an actual personality, to the point where everything they say is an unoriginal reference/pun and they are unable to talk about unrelated subjects for more than 5 seconds without bringing it full circle. Then they try to make these references to people who don't understand them, and then when the core of their being falls flat on this person they simply ignore them from then on and never have any real friends, just fellow fans.

Farscape has a pretty pathetic fanbase I remember finding a Farscape reddit board two years or so ago when they were talking about a movie and there's some really weird fucks there who I'm certain watched the series on its original airing and never got over the connection they had to the characters and romantic subplots. Rock critics are often totally ignorant of the rock music of the past, they barely know the best sellers. No wonder they will think that the Beatles did anything worthy of being saved.
