I neded 3 (THREE) attempts to force myself trough the movie. I only even considered watching it because i have to watch every single movie that depp has a part in.

This movie is 10/10 if you pretend it's ironic. Having a sweet spot for those old Pink Panther movies helps too.
There's a scene where Jock Strapp (Paul Bettany's character) falls of a driving car, and when the stunt double lands on the ground you can see the mat he fell on, followed by the stunt double looking into the lens for like 18 frames. Then it cuts to the real Bettany falling down.
After the Willy Wonka remake, I promised myself I'd never watch another Jon Depp movie again.
Shame too because I loved him in Fear and Loathing, but that Willy Wonka movie was a fucking travesty.
Hating this movie is a surefire sign of a redditor

Go to 2:37 for another 10/10 Jock Strapp moment.

I really enjoyed it, but I wasn't trying to take it too seriously.
I thought he played the part well. Especially liked the comments on America.
