Just caught Camelot, which wasn't as good as I was expecting it to be.

My top musical is Les Miserables, pleb pick though it may be.

I went to a production of some musical about the Revolutionary War when I was a kid but I can't seem to figure out what musical it was. It wasn't 1776. There was a scene where a washing woman gets her shirt ripped off.

Fuck I remembered it wrong. The engineer didnt go on to broadway but one of the female leads did. @ serenbe playhouse they had an outdoor performance where there was a real helicopter and shit. This was last summer

Fuck that fucking bullshit show. The "gritty north east" as written and performed by a bunch of posh londoners and champagne socialists.

The part where they suddenly have every single policeman be an evil Tory was so dumb and on the nose I lost all interest in what it was trying to do. Also, there was so much padding for time.

Any non-Georgians ITT? I'm getting tired of the Georgians' exclusivity and Georgian attitude. I like R.E.M. and peaches but Georgians are best in small doses.

It did feel somewhat padded and dragged out in the second act. Could have been 20 minutes shorter I thought. Regardless, I enjoyed the hell out of the filmed stage performance.
