I was just wondering, especially for Fellowship. The film is ranked in numerous top 100 lists of all time, preserved in a handful of film archive institutions...but it doesn't have a full perfect rating anywhere.
I'm not saying RT matters, but as an aggregate grade, it puzzles me.
Also LOTR thread.
Because Galadriel's riverdancing only took up a small portion of the film, not the entire length of it
There's a movie with perfect score?

Pretty sure Citizen Kane legit is 100. I'll check.

100 "tomatometer" whatever the fuck that is.
Great thread...

The godfather has a 100 on RT I think, literally just checked today because I was talking to my dad and we were trying to remember the name of an actor from it (James caan)

They removed the riverdale sex scenes between Frodo and Sam.
Critics were a bit harsher on all movies in general today. These days any movie that's associated with the MCU or is politically correct are guaranteed 95%+ by default.
Today I think that unless the LOTR films were owned by disney, they would be dismissed and given 50-60%

>they would be dismissed and given 50-60%
Oh fucking stop, no they wouldn't.

>still being this mad that BvS deservedly got a low review score
You're so transparent
Bump?
