I don't even want to be reminded it exists anymore. Talk about the pain from seeing something you loved get corrupted and turned out for tricks. Star Wars and Terminator have nothing on the Simpsons in terms of childhood rape because it just won't stop. I haven't watched any new episodes in years but just imagining how bad it must be by now gives me nightmares.

If it ever does, it will include callbacks and Bart and Lisa being old being with their kids and doing/saying some tear-jerker to remind you of their dead parents. It has to be this way. I am an oldfag as a kid watched the Tracey Ullman shorts I'm at that age where I got kids and my parents are about to go. Has to end that way.

They have a series finale episode that they made roughly 20-something years ago and put into a vault.

When they finally end the series they're gonna play it and use the classic simpsons aspect as nostalgia bait and marketing to draw in a large viewerbase

Remember the episode where marge asks part "how would you feel if 20 years from now people were laughing at you" or something to that effect?

The finale will be bart with his kids and have him popping in an old home vhs, which begins to play the christmas episode

The ending should've happened 17 years ago, and just have an overarching plot that involves the entire simpsons cast being their funny selves. At the end make a point of life continuing as usual for springfield with more fun adventures to come, you've just had a little glimse into the Simpsons' lives over the seasons and thats over for now
