Theres this weird trend of the "tweest" being much stupider than the rest of the film, arrival definitely suffers from it.

And I have no respect for filmmakers that leave something important unexplained. They are just bad writers

The movie has two main elements.

The communicating with aliens thing and the big twist.

The first one is excellent. The second just brings the film down.

Not the same DoP as Sicario, seen it hoping for same a e s t h e t i c visuals. Was biiterly disappointed.

Director's a stuffed suit, the plot is mostly inane with a twist, obligatory social commentary (military paranoia is baaad, russia and china are evil, mmkay) just date the movie.

It's baffling to me that people today still use streams.
Just torrent the damn movie, if you have a decent enough connection to be able stream them you can download them too.

The quality on all streams is atrocious, and even if you find something with a somewhat decent video quality you can be sure that the audio is always utter dogshit, digitally distorted 96kbps uncomprehensible trash.
And especially with Arrival, where the most well executed element is the sound track and sound design, but you will hear absolute shit.

While you watch an already downloaded film you can put atleast 2 more films to download while you are watching this and voila, you have a constant stream of films available to you. No excuse.
