The Alien franchise sucks. Alien was a flawless movie imo, and aliens was great and a fun watch, but Alien didn't need a franchise, none of the ideas the autistic fanbase wanted explored was just unneccessary and Alien could have been a great stand alone film. Its not something that needed sequel after sequel, spinoff, prequel, comics, crossovers, etc. It was a good idea that got ruined by giving too much.

Cinematic universes are a thing now, deal with it. At least with Cameron you're getting quality action and effects, half the complaints are about crap effects in comic book movies anyways. James Cameron holds himself to a high degree of professionalism in his craft. Why else would he have the highest grossing movies ever? The man is a legend and only contrarians and plebbitors hate his works.
