Mark Frost said that if 3 is well received it's possible but nothing is planned right now. I hope not actually unless they did it like fargo and place it in different time periods and new characters. That would be interesting.

I wouldn't mind if a new crew joined in to write and direct while Lynch or Frost overlooked it.
There is a lot you can do with TP and it doesn't just have to involve these characters.

I'm reading secret history rn and it's pretty good.
Secret Diary of Laura Palmer was great imo.
Some of the other books are out of print but I've heard good things.
