Say Tony actually does die at the end. What happens next?

I like to think that Meadow would have ran out of her car and seen Tony's corpse, and the experience would scar her and change her naive, bleeding-heart worldview. Then we could see her take over the family. She's proven to be shrewd, and her education would put her head and shoulders above the other stupid mobsters.

The only problem is that Tony himself and the war wiped out so much of the organization. She could enlist AJ as a low level enforcer, and Paulie could be his mentor.

It would make a nice parallel to the lady boss that Tony met in Italy in season 2

It's my fourth time round watching the show. I've always loved it. Furio sees everything he wants in a woman, in Carmela. After moving countries his loneliness completely justifies him betraying Tony in such a way. Carmela is also lonely with the kids away and Tony busy with boss duties. I love their connection, the actors chemistry is real and it plays out over the perfect length of time.
At first I was mad they didn't follow through on their feelings. Now I watch it and think it's beautiful. Their commitment to the mob life and what they represent in it (Him the Boss's right hand man and her the Boss's wife) and in the end they decide to stay true to love of the gangster life rather then their love for each other.
I believe Carmela and Furio were the most in love out of all the characters. The only other couple to compare is Bobby and Karen.
