Aside from that ridiculous flashback sequence Crouching Tiger is one of the few truly great MA films.
And they may not be great movies but Ong Bak and Chocolate and The Raid 2 are fantastic for they're down to earth and expertly filmed presentation of they're fights.

five deadly venoms to me, is the ultimate in martial arts film. Each character has a distinct, recognizable fighting style and mannerisms, and the storyline is somewhat interesting despite being barebones like all MA movies. it's got one of the best final fight scenes in the movies
