Happy to share an awesome finding, i couldn't believe i had not heard of this before i saw it, everything is great about the film, from the actors to the script to the music
>watch ravenous when I'm a kid
>fucking awesome why don't more people know about this shit jesus christ
>watch ravenous recently
>its fucking trash
>completely irredeemable

Ravenous is more of a curiosity. Definitely not good though and in no way great as a whole. The quality varied so much and a lot of it was just laughably bad. It is those those other things though. I don't regret watching it though as it was a certainly unique blend of genres and tones, a lot of time to its own hindrance though sadly.

God that movie took me for a loop. Went into it blind and it was great.

It felt like there was a very good narrative they could've turned into one cohesive movie. But since no one on the production quite saw it, the result was... well, what it was.
Caught this on AMC a few years back. Was surprised it was actually pretty good.

Its only popular amongst film fags. Normies have no clue what the hell Brazil is. Hell most of gilliams work is under appreciated.

Around the part where they encounter the guys wearing balaclava's it gets really fucking pretentious.
Not great by any means, but one of the stupid "Dude weed" movies

only would have been better if they all did like deep NY accents or Boston accents to rip on this movie genre a bit more.

The Fall.

The story was a bit week outside of his stories, but those fucking shots, the cinematography. And the fact it took little over 4 years to shoot mostly on the directors dime.
It's in my top 10 for sure.

Never thought I'd see a movie cover with an elderly Princess Leia, The Edge & Ian McKellen on it together.
